We are also committed to local participation and procurement. Believing in equal participation, we intend to establish a workforce comprised equally of men and women.
Resgen currently employs 35 people in mine construction and development. Once construction starts, this will peak at 3 000, including employees of the appointed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.
In order to be fully prepared for the start of recruitment, we have consulted widely within local communities and have prepared a database of 12 000 potential candidates. We have also sponsored a bursary programme and numerous training initiatives.
